Our Biosolids Services
FGS Utilities provides a complete biosolids land spreading service, including:
Loading
Our fleet of 360° excavators is used to load biosolids efficiently while minimising ground disturbance. Specialist sludge buckets enable fast loading and help maintain tidy stockpile areas.
Land Spreading
Using modern self-propelled spreaders fitted with low ground pressure tyres and GPS guidance technology, we accurately apply biosolids in accordance with application plans and regulatory requirements, helping maximise efficiency while protecting soil structure.
Pyrolysis:
An emerging biosolids treatment technology, gaining relevance amid growing concerns over nutrient runoff and microplastic contamination in soils when used in agriculture. While costly to install and maintain, it produces large amounts of clean energy with minimal ash by-product.
